I recently picked up the PS5 Pro cooling fan, and even though it’s technically designed with the Pro model in mind, I’m using it on my original PS5 — and it works perfectly. The fit is slightly larger than the standard PS5’s frame, but it still sits securely in place and doesn’t fall off or feel loose.
The installation was quick and hassle-free. Once it’s on, it blends in with the console’s look without feeling bulky or awkward. Performance-wise, it keeps my PS5 running cool even during long gaming sessions, and I’ve noticed my system stays quieter overall. The fan itself is impressively quiet — no annoying humming or buzzing — so it doesn’t pull you out of the game’s atmosphere.
After weeks of use, I have zero complaints. It’s a solid accessory that does exactly what it promises, even if you’re not rocking the Pro model. If you’re looking for an affordable, effective cooling solution, I’d absolutely recommend it.
I probably wouldn't have even left a review, even though it had an issue on day two. But when they contacted me to ask what I thought of it, and I told them the situation, their response was just to keep tapping it because that's what I had to do to get the fan to stop making a noise. That's their solution instead of fixing it properly by sending another one and asking for the faulty one back. So I wouldn't buy from them until they put some research into fixing that problem.
I changed my review to a five-star because they fixed the problem and sent me a new one free of charge it arrived within one day from my experience you just voice your concerns with any faulty products and then leave a review don't do what I did and review first lol.
I have not used a console in many years, probably a decade or more. I have a pc that doesn't really get hot, airflow is really good. Then I saw the GTA 6 second trailer and knew I couldn't hold out until a pc release. I bought the PS5 Pro to have the best possible experience.
Man that thing is like having a heater in the room. This fan snaps into place and uses the USB slot, but also has a usb slot on it, so you lose nothing there.
It's a bit noisier than I would like, but it is moving some serious air. The lights aren't important to me but welcome.
Works really well, keeps system cool, functions well, looks great, low noise level and fits really good.
